The Dancin Dynamites Competition which is now in its third staging promises to be bigger and better for the upcoming New Year. Fourteen Dance pairs will have to BRING IT every week to prove to the voters and viewer that they are the best dynamites!
The show attracts over one million viewers in Jamaica and enjoyed over one million hits in 2007.
The competition will undergo a number of changes in 2008:
- Season 3 will also be aired on CIN TV, Channel 73 on Sundays 5:30-6:30 pm. This will give the Diaspora and dance lovers in Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Staten Island, the chance to enjoy a “Piece of Jamaica”.
- The 2008 Dancin Dynamites winner will get a chance to perform in Canada, a one year employment contract form Gymkhana at the Hilton, A/A airline tickets and a week-end stay at the Hilton Silver Springs in Washington DC.
- Winners of 2008 will be featured in the Mr. Vegas’ music video.
- The second place winner will perform in a Big Yard music video.
This is the show not to be missed as dancers will have to BRING IT to many genres of music including: Dancehall, Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin, Contemporary, Gospel and MORE!!
The show will not only teach viewers all the latest moves but also keep everyone on their toes as Caribbean judges, Latin dancers and special guest artistes will add to the energy and hype.
The New York audience will be able to call in to CIN and vote for their favourite dancer each week, therefore creating excitement and anticipation for “Dancin Dynamite” during the 13 weeks.
