Progressive Football Club headed by Marlon Wilson accepts the Winner's Trophy for the CIN Under-16 Football Competition from Stephen Hill.

The Caribbean International Network (CIN) were sponsors of the Portland under-16 football competition and Stephen Hill, CEO of CIN presented the award to the Progressive Football Club at this year’s award ceremony held in Port Antonio at Bethesda Gospel Hall on Friday, September 14, 2007.

Stephen Hill pledged CIN’s continued support. He said, “While sponsors can provide financial support to football throughout Jamaica it was up to the players to achieve success by their dedication, their sense of purpose, discipline and hard work. Your individual success will bring glory to your club, to your parish and to your country. It is important that we invest in the youth and if we invest in the young people they will be the salvation of Jamaica.” He further stated that just as Port Antonio had provided the first billionaire from Jamaica in the Forbes 400 richest persons in the world, there was no reason why Portland could not provide the first Pele from the Caribbean.

CIN TV is the only regularly scheduled television service for the New York Caribbean-American community. For fourteen years we have provided a full menu of news, sports, drama and music programmes created exclusively for the rapidly growing and youthful Caribbean population
